Truffle Hunt Odyssey
Konifir Truffle Co presents a Truffle Hunt Odyssey! Explore a truffle productive forest with a truffle hunting dog and their handler. Watch how truffles are discovered by the hunting team and even get an opportunity to dig for the truffle alongside the dog! In addition to an hour-long truffle hunt, you will be treated to a culinary experience that highlights the distinct aromas of our native Oregon White and Washington Black truffles! Guests will also be given a special goodie bag to take home with them. Konifir Truffle Co will also offer specialized Truffle Hunt Odysseys to cater kids and keep them engaged, such as finding secret items along the hunt path and winning prizes at the end! Warrior Truffle Trek
Are you or do you know someone who has served or is currently serving in the U.S. military? Konifir Truffle Co is also owned and operated by an Army veteran who has served active duty and is currently serving in the National Guard. There is a special place for military in our hearts and we would love to offer a truffle hunting experience that is similar to our Truffle Hunt Odyssey at no charge! We are currently working out the details, but for now we can tell you that this would likely be a nominated opportunity and something we would do twice a year. The intent is to give a unique experience to a military veteran or service member who could benefit due to the challenges military life has thrown their way. Education Excursion
Konifir Truffle Co is passionate about educating the public about our local truffles. One way we plan to do this is by inviting school groups to our Wild Truffiere to experience and learn about sustainable truffle production, dog-harvesting truffles and other interesting facts and tips. These would be small groups from schools that submit requests to participate in the program. We would most likely offer it twice a year.
